Friends ?

Some members have well over a 100 "friends" Are these one time friends or does one really converse with so many friends? I have 3 and yet we never even say hi. So, are there points given when making friends?

 they actually are acquaintances not friends they are people that ask for friends just to gather them.... .friends are people who you see face to face but acquaintances that are online to chat with here ..some I chat with most pass by ...and some want friends so that as Mathews said want to view your profile..or part of...

 I hope that when someone friends me there is a greater possibility of eventually meeting, but that isn't always the case.

 I have many "Friends" on here as I travel and always looking to meet others in the cities I'm visiting. Since it's tough to actually meet it gives options due to availability...

I believe it is an "activity" that earns points - there seem to be 'friend collectors". Generally they are more like acquaintances - but there are exceptions.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
