Regrets if I died today

I never befriended a owl
Sitting in a tree
Or lion becoming part of his pride
Astride in the tall grass
Where gazelles fly
Fly on by
I never swam with a whale
Or<b> dolphin </font></b>school
And touched their tails
Whilst whistling freely in the dark blue
I never climbed a tree with a monkey
In a sea of tree tops of green
Never hung of with a giraffe
Or grazed with a Buffalo in the snow
Never charged with a rhinoceros on the go
I never sat with a eagle in his nest
Or blew time away with a beagle
Never rummaged a dump site with a bear
With out a single care or fear
Or watched the sunrise with a wolverine
A wolverine that's not so mean and harm me
I never ran from a polar bear with a fox
Or dined with komodo dragons on the rocks
But most of all I never befriended a owl
Sitting in a tree
Calmed by the breeze
Without a need
Seeing the world as he
Through wisined eyes of his breed
To be in his company
The company of a king
This is all that would matter to me
These are the regrets that would plague I
For never more would I have the chance
To be
As free as these...
