My mothers side is german and my fathers side is<b> italian. </font></b>Both side were immigrants. Now i remember as a probably like the age of five, going to arlington cemetery and finding my great uncles grave whom i am named after.
My middle name Trall is after him. He is a german american who fought against the germans in the second world war. He was shot down as a fighter pilot. Have pics of him in family albums. Even to this day and even after returning to D,C. as an adult and seeing arlington and the vietnam memorial it is an experience beyond words. If you ever have the chance visit D.C. for our common ancestry, do so. You won't regret it.
