Still testing the waters

Well, been here about two weeks so far. Interesting place looks like I might actually enjoy getting to know some of the people here. Have IM'd a few people, sent email through the site. To this point have only received a few responses to anything sent. One very nice refusal based on a<b> woman looking </font></b>for an unattached man, which I am not, sometimes wish I were but there is another time and place for that discussion. Also received a very nice explanation about a name I misread, note to self, make sure reading glasses are in place before reading a name and sending an IM or email. She was very sweet about it but another just letting me know...not you! Would really like to find somebody (ies) close by. The DROUGHT may be over in this area when it comes to the weather, but from my standpoint it is taking its toll on my attitude I guess you could say. Well here's to hoping things get better soon. Till then i'll try to keep a smile on my face.
