Well... It sounds like there are things about the Gold thing that you find to be redeemable... Thus I would say that if it brings you any amount of joy or positivity then maybe you could keep it... For me... I recently did the gold thing... I do not expect to meet anyone or find what I am seeking but for me... Well... I will say that I believe in the butterfly effect and I seek to be an active participant in this phenomenon. That is to say, I have my own personal intent in all matters. Whatever YOUR reason is, that is good enough. I vote to keep the Gold.  *. *. *

I certainly wouldn't pay for it, partly because so few people are local to me and secondly because the facilities on offer are so poor as to not be woth parting with hard cash for (there is also the security breach which still gives me the occaisonal blackmail attempt).

Mine runs out in September. At this stage, I'm not likely to renew. I might even delete my account. Apart from the glitches, quite often when I log in, there are multiple accounts that uploaded pictures of the same porn model (lately it's Andi James), with different ages and locations. Then there are ongoing conversations that suddenly stop. I hadn't said anything out of the ordinary, the conversations just stopped. Rather than risk being seen as a stalker, I let it go. If they're no longer interested, neither am I. I'm jaded, and with the situation as it is at the moment, I'm not pursuing anyone locally. Anyway, I have a MIBI test scheduled in a couple of weeks, and I doubt that I could engage much physically without having a coronary  Not a good look  The best of luck with your decision, and I applaud your safety requirements  Too many people on here seem to play Russian Roulette with their health, and that of others. X

I really can't give you advice. Since I am a standard member. I have been on this site for a while. Just mainly blogging and to see if I can make any contacts. I am still thinking of going Gold after all of this time.. We will see. I guess thing only advice I could give you, if you like all the accessibility, maybe you should keep it.

Absolutely shocked to hear that there are men on this site who profess to want more action than they are currently getting, good thing I am sitting down at the moment. Completely understand though your dilemma about whether to stay with your gold membership or simply bin it. Either or won't be easy although my guess is you will probably keep things the way there are.

I've been Standard for over a year now and I haven't really missed it. I found that I can reply to emails; I just can't send them. It doesn't take very many points to chat on IM. I thought I'd miss checking profiles but if you hover over the profile picture, you can read a tiny bit - and that's usually enough to tell me that I don't need to read further. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Ive been on site for over a decade, always standard, except for recentlly when a friend gifted me 3 months of gold. The quality of prospects has seriously declined over these years. Also, those that profess their curious ness and /or alternative style has also come to the fore. Two dates in a year of sequester and pandemic is really quite good...so its not a good year to judge. This next cycle may not either although more n more people are getting the vaxx. As Superb said, we can still respond to mail, and we can still IM, and for now we can still blog. Also as someone said...after a month or so the site will offer you a huge discount to become gold again. You will be able to decide then IF you wanna renew. I just hope they dont auto renew on ya as they have with others, even though they had that feature turned off.

I lost my gold about a year ago but fortunately have lots of points. Sometimes the site will let you view the odd profile for free ,, if not it costs 100 points to view a full profile.. but as someone else said a quick hover over the profile probably tells you if you want to delve further. it cost's 17 points for an IM chat, but that's so glitchy I only log onto that if I'm really bored... well I cant seem to log on at all at the moment.! ... I can read messages for free and reply but to send a message cost's 150 points.. maybe 200.. I think if you have points use them up first and see how you feel.. If the site worked A1 i would pay for Gold.. but as it stands I'm happy to use my points

I didn't go gold this time... I had decided to try it out as just a standard member this time around and If I wanted to, I'd upgrade to gold. That was a year and a half ago. I haven't missed it.
