Well, it seems that its not what it seems to be even though its advertised as what it seems. At this point I just come on to vent and share stories. I meet a decent amount of females offline so it balances this site out.

Fetlife so much better. We only keep the account open because they gave us free gold for a year. The banner of the old white hair pounding some pussy stating "go all day again" tells you all you need to know. Someone is paying to a run a add marketed at older folks. There is a reason for that - you dont spend a ton of money on marketing at a place like this unless you know the demographic and that you will get returns.

The biggest problem is when you use points to send a message. It deducts the 15 points and you get no response. Sometimes right after you say hello the person is no longer on IM and you lose the points. I would rather pay 25 points only if you get a response. This way you know they saw your message rather than guessing if they are not interested or just not receiving messages.

This site is just a money grubbing shithole of a site. If you have to write about something not working you get the same reply no matter what it is. As a gold member you should not have to use points to talk to someone. That is double dipping. I come here look around and leave. I get no points for logging in or anything else. If I want points I have to buy them, so what is the point of a gold membership other than it puts money into their pockets. I have been a member since 03or so. It was a good site to visit, but that has changed. So I am always asking myself why do I come here. The only time now that I pay for gold is when it is $47.00/year. It is barely worth that.

The problem with being a gold member is you cannot IM standard members so that eliminates half the field

i signed up without having a clue. this site isn't really for me since im not comfortable having abrupt hookups with strangers without being tested first. and im usually a one partner / couple type of guy at a time. i think i should have signed up to plenty of fish instead or something. not the sites fault, but it is very bleak. can't do shit without paying.

so lets face it, its not that hard for girls to get sex. I don't pay and I wont pay. but they are making it more and more difficult to use the site without paying. eventually I will leave. I have not been on here that long but seen lots of changes already, pushing for money. they are not very smart. trying to force women to pay will backfire on them. eventually it will be nothing but men and the female scammers/gold diggers etc. that's just my opinion. and at least make improvements to IM. I would never pay with such a crappy IM that hardly ever works.

Again it seems that they're f***ing with the site. They keep making changes and breaking other things that don't get fixed for ages if at all. From what I've read (I first joined in 2001), the admin sucks and so does the IT. I've seen comments about this "being a business" when people complain about the money-grubbing, but this isn't being treated as a business...at least not one that cares about its customers, or giving people incentives to pay. Why pay, if you can't tell if you're going to get value for your money? As someone posted above, eventually it'll just be the scammers/fakes left.
