Blind date

Blind date Went on a "match making" date on Saturday. 4 ladies and 4 men.6 singles and a married couple. Was organised by the married couple to introduce 2 of the guy's frens to one of the girls as potential suitors. The other 2 girls tagged along for curiousity sake and I was pulled in to make up the numbers. Well lets just say it only went as far as the dinner portion before all failed... Lessons in life?  #1. Guy's perception of a cool dude is not = Gal's perception of a cool dude. Can't understand ladies hangups on guys who mingles hokkien in their conversation. #2. Never never bring along other ladies more eligible than the one to be match made. Well guys r shallow creatures and at first impression looks count. sheesh. #3. Never go on a group date where you know all the ladies but not any of the other guys. I guess its a territorial thing but hey its normal that the gals communicate with me more than with them... hello, we known each other for years as compared to their miserable few minutes. Guys go work on getting the gals interest instead of giving me that hostile look all night and make me feel like I wasted a perfectly good saturday nite. #4. Dun go to any unforsaken place, regardless of how romantic the setting is, with ladies staying in different parts of the Island on a<b> blind date. </font></b>The plan was for each guy to send one lady home. The reality -> No connection means having to visit all parts of Singapore in one night  #5. I do silly things when EPL season is over. |
