LAND OF THE FREE, HOME OF THE BRAVE, & SOME IDIOTS !!! O.K. Bloggers !!! I can't post all of this now, I'm just too PISSED OFF !!! Whether you are for or against the war and/or President Bush, doesn't matter to me. It's your choice, I'm not trying to change your mind, not my place to try to !!! Live & let live is my motto !!! However, I live in East TENNESSEE. Love it here, born & raised here, don't want to live anywhere else !!! We recently lost a soldier from Seymour,TN, in Iraq. I just read in the paper, when they have his funeral, a group of overzealous idiots from Kansas, {I'll post their name & info in my next post}, are going to be near the funeral home, protesting. They aren't protesting the war, they're saying that all soldiers killed in Iraq are going to hell !!! Why ??? Because they're fighting for our country !!! According to this group, our country shouldn't be defended, because the country has turned it's back on God by accepting<b> homosexuality </font></b>!!! They of course have freedom of speech,{which of course has been guaranteed by the deaths of countless soldiers for centuries !!!}, so they will be allowed to be near the funeral home, but, the home is on private property, and they can't be on it without permission !!! The Police will be there to make sure peace is kept, and that no one gets hurt. I'm not sure, but some of us may be there as well.We have the right to protest against this group if we so choose !!! I have to stop for now, but I'll post more on this story. One of the things that really gets to me, aside from the disrespect they are showing soldiers families, is that they link themselves to the Primitive Baptist Church !!! People, let me tell you, I AM A PRIMITIVE BAPTIST, and I strongly resent these assholes linking themselves to a faith that would not consider the types of things these idiots are claiming !!! I'm not sure I'm making sense now, so I'll stop. I will be back very soon with more on this mockery of our troops, families, and our nation !!! Peace !!! Cabo !!!!!! |

Cabo my son...soldiers willing enter battle and lose their lives so these morons may gulp air. The mere presence of them is testimony to the courage of our fallen protector. As sad as it is when it is abused, we all have rights. Freedom of speech is a double-edged sword. Calm yourself. To acknowledge the idiotic verifies their existance. Ignore them and they soon grow bored and move on. Then again...you could always hire a sniper. [blog talldarkavg1]

Thank you Dusty !!! My sentiments exactly !!! I was too angry to make it clear, when I said "some of us may be there also," I didn't mean be there to cause trouble. The last thing I'd want to do is upset the family any further. I would never disrespect their privacy, I would only be there to show these people that they're not welcome here !!!
